Happy Women's Day 2020

By Sharada Vadla

Wishing you a very
Happy Women's Day...

Each woman is a different colour....
Some are very bright and vibrant....
Like the daughters who elegantly can blur all the stress after a tough day......

Some are pleasant ..
Like the wife who can get you ready each day, despite multiple failures.......they never stop hoping the best from you and for you....

Some are unfaded....
Like the sisters....
Whatever and whenever you are need...
Their friendship colour never fades ..

Some are silent colours... Which you never even know their indefinite and unconditional contribution... They form the whole backdrop...
Like the Mother ..

Stay blessed...
With all the wonderful women with you, who make you feel special each day. ..

Happy Women's Day to one and all ....

Story Telling - Lateral Thinking

By Sharada Vadla

Sumana and Prashanthi work in a school, one day, one  Prashanthi was very sad almost in tears. When Sumana asked her what happened. She said, she had a talk with the school counselor(child counselling section), and the counselor told her that her son is not interactive, and she started crying.

Sumana wondered how does it matter for a grade one student ? he has lot of time to learn.

So Sumana told her, "tell him nice stories daily, so that his imagination will improve and he will start talking".

Next day Prashanthi came to Sumana. "Sumana, I told him the story of Man into Space.. and told him the moral " If you study well you can also be a scientist and travel into space".

Then he answered, Mom you said, on experimental basis, first they sent a dog right... Yes I said".  So the Dog didn't study... but it went into the space... So in this story I liked the Dog... and I like to be like the Dog... now let me sleep" ...

Sumana, Your story telling didn't work..."

Sumana couldn't stop laughing....
She said, It worked Prashanthi... and it worked wonderfully...you should be proud of your son... for his thoughtful answer... now don't worry about your son... he is going to be amazing... Best of luck...

She smiled...at last..
